Bonnar set to stay with Wexford

Wexford manager Colm Bonnar
Colm Bonnar is expected to continue as Wexford hurling manager for a third season.

The former Tipperary star has yet to meet with the county board's management committee, but it's understood that they are keen to retain his services. Bonnar guided the Slaneysiders to promotion from Division 2 of the NHL last spring, but their championship campaign ended early following comprehensive defeats to Galway and Tipperary.

There are expected to be changes to Bonnar's management team, however, which this year comprised Eamonn Scallan, Conor Power and John Barron.

Meanwhile, it's still unclear what the future intentions of Wexford football manager Jason Ryan are. The Waterford native has met with Model County officials to review the season, but he has yet to confirm if he will be continuing for a fourth season.
