Martin's suffer further setback

August 05, 2010
Having to deal without county stars Diarmuid and Ciaran Lyng was bad enough for the St Martin's club, but now they look set to have to plan without fellow Wexford star Tomas Waters also.

Waters was dismissed after his side's one-point defeat to Rapparees in the SHC last weekend as he is alleged to have verbally abused the match referee.

The county hurler is now set to miss St Martin's crucial last group game against Marshalstown-Castledockrell and it is up to the Wexford CCCC as to how long a suspension he will receive.

St Martin's need a win to go through to the quarterfinals, but with the two Lyng's and Waters absent; they face a tough task in order to reach the last eight.
