Masterson targets win

Castletown keeper Anthony Masterson
Wexford goalkeeper Anthony Masterson has set his sights on victory over Cavan.

The Model County got their Division Three campaign back on track with victory over Sligo last weekend and they travel to Breffni Park to meet Cavan under lights on Saturday evening (7.30).

Looking forward to the match, the Wexford custodian notes: "Confidence is now high. I can see the confidence coming back to where it was two years ago. Wins bring confidence so we'll be aiming to maintain momentum.

"Cavan will be up for this game in front of their home supporters. When you look at it, a defeat would put them in relegation trouble, while two points would keep us in the promotion race.

"Our aim is to win on Saturday. We are looking no further than that at the moment but, should we keep winning, our final game is against current leaders Antrim."
