Moate All-Whites club notes

May 20, 2012
ACL DIV 3
MILLTOWN 2-2 MOATE 1-5
With both clubs perhaps having one eye on being involved at the latter stages of the championship later on in the year there was a bit of shadow boxing going on in this game.We were missing a few but that's probably going to be the way of it with lads coming and going over the summer.A well taken goal from Barry Webb was the highlight of our first half when we started slowly but came into the game particularly when Niall Mackey came out round the centre.Ciaran Kelly put in strong showing at full back in the second half and both sides had great chances to win it at the end but in the event had to settle for a draw.We remain unbeaten in the league and the physical nature of this game will do the lads no harm.
PANEL:D Mackey,S Kelly,C Kelly,P McLaughlin,B Arigho,S Byrne,D Keenaghan,N Adamson,J Madden,A Claffey,J Linnane 0-1,D McArdle,C Bradley 0-4,N Mackey,B Webb 1-0,E Minnock,D Claffey.
