Gilsenan: we've learned from league final loss

Westmeath's Philip Gilsenan
Vice-captain Philip Gilsenan insists Westmeath have learned from their Allianz Hurling League Division 2A final defeat to Carlow.
Speaking ahead of Saturday's Leinster SHC opener against Antrim in Mullingar, the Brownstown man said: "We were bad in the Carlow game and we looked at where we went wrong. We've moved on from there. We rectified what went wrong on the training field and everyone's now raring for the championship game.
"This is a stepping stone and we learned an awful lot last year by beating Carlow in the first round of the championship and having the opportunity to play Galway. That went well, even though we didn't come through it. We've learned a lot since and have brought that onto this year."
