Westmeath ladies begin preparations
January 13, 2012
The managerless Westmeath ladies football team have returned to training ahead of the 2012 campaign.
The ladies met up for their first training session since last year's All-Ireland intermediate final win over Cavan, but have yet to replace the joint managers team of Alan Mangan and Peter Leahy.
Westmeath Ladies chairperson Geraldine Giles stated that the search for a new manager was ongoing.
"There is no development with the appointment of a manager as yet, but the team is back to physical training, ahead of their national league campaign," she told the Westmeath Topic.
