KILLUCAN GAA NOTES

Our Senior teams preparations for our Semi final are going very well at the moment with 2 more challenge games played. On Thursday last the lads travelled nto Lakepoint Park to take on Carrick - On - Shannon and recorded a very credible draw. On Saturday last, they were host to Kildare outfit, Carbury, and were victorious after a hard fought, competitive game. Keep up the good work Lads

Garrycastle in the Semi-Final
On Saturday evening last, Garrycastle defeated Athlone in a local Derby quarter - Final and therefore qualified to meet Killucan in the Semi- Final on Sunday, 12th September. This is our biggest match since 2006 and your support on the day will be greatly appreciated.

All Ireland Hurling Final Raffle
Killucan are giving away two tickets to the All Ireland Hurling Final in Croke Park on Sunday, 5th, September. The winner of the raffle receives two tickets and the draw takes place this Friday, 3rd, September at the new pitch. The lines are €2 each or €10 for a card of six. All proceeds go towards the Park Development fund. Your support is greatfully appreciated.

Killucan GAA Golf Classic
Killucan GAA are hosting a Golf Classic in Shay Murtaghs Golf Course on Saturday 29th September. First tee off is at 8am and teams of three competing. For more details contact Ciaran Leavy, Keith Quinn, Shane Briody, Sean Bradley or any committee member.

Senior B Championship
Hard luck to our second team who were defeated in the Senior b Championship on Tuesday last.
