Recent Senior Result
St Oliver Plunketts 3.10 - Clonkill 2.11. Our senior hurlers held on for a vital victory in this hard fought encounter against the reining county champions in the winners group of the senior hurling championship. This win did not look likely to happen as within the first five/ten minutes of the fixture Clonkill were 7 points to the good. But to their credit Plunketts battled hard all over the pitch and grabbed some vital goals to lead by one point at the break. The second half was a scrappy affair as the mist arrived in Cusack Park to make conditions very slippery. That said both sides notched over some well taken scores but play was very much broken up by a number of injuries. As the game entered the final ten minutes Clonkill applied serious pressure to the Plunketts defence, but to their credit all the Plunketts men defended stoutly to ensure that the Mullingar team would not be denied their victory. This is our second victory in this group stage and we have a bye for the next round of games. Our final game will be versus Castlepollard in approximately 4 weeks time. Well done to all players, management and club officials on this hard fought victory. Team: Ian Egerton, Clive Kenny, Sean O'Leary, Steve McManus, Micheal Curley, Noel Gavin, Greg Gavin, Mick Harris, Cian O'Leary, Aaron Craig, Connaire Flanagan, Ciaran Curley, Peter Collins, John Dooley, Govinda Geoghegan, Paddy Laide, Damian Kiernan, Sean Maguire, David Gavin and James Duggan.

Club Kit Bag
A new club kit bag is available and this can be viewed on our web site or in the clubhouse in Robinstown. The bag is priced at a very reasonable €20, contact Bernard Bracken on 087 248984 for further details.

Robinstown Pitch Availability
With competitions and training now in full swing, various club teams (hurling and camogie) are requesting use of  pitches and it is very important that they are booked through Bernard Bracken who can be contacted on 087 248984. Each team manager must book their time slot for their training sessions/challenge games; the lower pitch is to be used for such games.
