After today's semi-finals, the two big hitters left in this year's Ulster Bank Sigerson Cup competition are through to the final.

In the first of the games at hosts Maynooth this afternoon, competition favourites DCU saw off the home side by six points, 1-12 to 1-6.

The Dublin college now meet UCC in the final, after the Cork college proved to strong for first time semi-finalists Athlone IT, by 1-15 to 0-7.

The final takes place in Leixlip tomorrow with a 3pm throw in. Tweet
