The Waterford senior hurling championship semi-finals take place this weekend.

Just four teams remain in the hunt for this year's county title and amongst them is defending champions Ballygunner who take on Fourmilewater at Fraher Field on Sunday afternoon.

Ballygunner will be favourites to progress to yet another final, but they face a Fourmilewater side that are growing in confidence with each game they play.

This one could be a lot closer than many people predict as Benji Whelan will have his charges psyched up for what is their biggest game in many years.

Preceding that match is the meeting of Ballyduff Upper and Tallow. The sides met in the group stages when Tallow came out on top, but Ballyduff have certainly improved as the campaign has wore on.
