Seven counties are represented on our hurling team of the week...

1. James Keane (Galway)

Galway secured a 10-point victory over Westmeath in Mullingar and the Tribesmens' netminder kept a clean sheet.

2. Andrew Kenny (Wexford)

Kenny and the Model County now advance to a Walsh Cup semi-final showdown against Offaly courtesy of their convincing win away to Carlow.

3. Jack Browne (Clare)

Browne and his defensive team-mates kept the Waterford attack well under wraps in Carriganore.

4. Oisin Gough (Dublin)

Dublin's defensive unit coughed up just 1-6 from play against Laois in O'Moore Park.

5. Dermot Mooney (Offaly)

It may have been an experimental Kilkenny side that took to the Birr field but Mooney & Co did all that was asked of them.

6. Liam Rushe (Dublin)

The metropolitans' number six got in on the scoring act as Ger Cunningham's charges set up a Walsh Cup semi-final date with Galway.

7. Seamus Hickey (Limerick)

The GPA chairman was his usual dependable self in the Treaty County's 3-17 to 0-18 success over Cork.

8. Shane Kinsella (Offaly)

Operated as a sweeper to good effect as an experimental Kilkenny side mounted a second-half comeback.

9. David Reidy (Clare)

Put in an industrious shift in the Banner County engine room against Waterford and chipped in with a goal for good measure.

10. Colin Ryan (Clare)

Along with John Conlon and Darach Honan, Ryan was a constant thorn in the side of the Waterford defence and top scored with 0-7 for Davy Fitzgerald's charges.

11. Shane Tompkins (Wexford)

The Model County centre-forward helped himself to five points (three from play) in the facile Walsh Cup win over Carlow.

12. Liam Watson (Antrim)

The talented Watson hit nine points (three from play) as the Saffrons rounded off their Walsh Cup campaign in style against UCD.

13. Declan Hannon (Limerick)

The accurate Hannon punished Cork's indiscipline with eight points from placed balls and he also notched 1-1 from open play.

14. Jason Flynn (Galway)

A return of 2-2 from Flynn against Westmeath sent the men from the west on the way to a last four showdown with Dublin.

15. Shane Dooley (Offaly)

Dooley finished with 0-7 (6 frees and 1 65) to his name and was also involved in the build-up to two of his side's three goals.
