So, here we are at the tail end of another season in Boston and down to the final pairings that sees 10 clubs involved in finals for in 7 competitions.  In the senior football shakeout it is Donegal and Wolfe Tones who will contest the 2015 championship.  Donegal ground out a one point win against a battling Shannon Blues.

An Emlyn Mulligan free in injury time proved to be the winner after the Blues had come back from three points down to level the score minutes earlier.  Wolfe Tones are still on track in their quest for a first senior football title.  The Tones are in their second final in a row after a comprehensive six point win over arch rivals, Aidan McAnespies.

The Senior hurling final will see Fr. Tom Burke's defend their title against a hot Tipperary side.  Tom's defeated Galway in a game that saw the defending champions open a lead in the second half and Galway close the gap to 2 points.  Tom's held on however, and will have to pull out a top drawer performance to reclaim the championship.

Tir na nOg ladies pulled off a one point win to see themselves into the senior final where they will face Connacht Ladies.  The Brighton side were locked in a tight battle against Boston Shamrocks and thanks to goals from Shauna Jackson and Caroline Nee will return to the final.  Tir na nOg will be without Jackson for the final as the Galway native injured a knee and is likely not to be available for the final, a major blow to their chances of retaining the senior championship.

In junior competition Connacht Ladies took the title with a 2-8 to 2-6 win over Boston Shamrocks.  The junior A championship will see Donegal try to make it 3 in a row against Wolfe Tones, while junior B football will be Aidan McAnespies against Donegal.

Wexford and Fr. Tom Burke'd will contest the junior a hurling final, while junior C will see an undefeated Portland take on the Barley House Wolves of Concord NH.
