New York GAA and Navillus have agreed to continue their successful partnership for 2015.

Navillus will be primary sponsors of the New York Gaelic football team as well as the Senior Football Championship and the Intermediate Football Championship.

This is a huge boost for the New York County Board ahead of the upcoming trip to Abu Dhabi for the World GAA Games. Both the men's and ladies' football teams will carry Navillus with them as primary sponsors for this historic trip.

"We are delighted to renew our sponsorship with New York GAA," said Donal O'Sullivan, President of Navillus.

"The centenary season was a special year for the GAA in this city and Navillus is looking forward to continuing this partnership. Our support of the New York Feile teams and of the Shannon Gaels reflects our deep commitment to the growth of the games in New York, something which is vital for the Irish community.

"We believe that contributing to the communities where we live and work is not only our responsibility but our duty.

"Finally, we at Navillus wish Ian Galvin and his senior team all the best in the upcoming games against Cavan, Boston and of course Galway in May."

New York GAA Chairperson Laurence McGrath welcomed the decision by Navillus to support the County Board again for the new season.

"Navillus were major supporters of our work during what was a historic year for our association," said McGrath. "It's a vote of confidence in the games and it's a huge benefit for the Irish community in New York. We share the Navillus desire to grow the GAA in our area and we look forward to the 2015 season with renewed vigor."
