Manager Seamus Sweeney speaks to his players
New York are on the look out for a new senior football manager after Seamus Sweeney stood down from the post at the weekend.

Sweeney was in charge of the Exiles last year when they came close to producing a huge shock against Galway in the Connacht SFC opener. He also over saw the team's fortunes this past season when they suffered a 16-point defeat to then defending champions Roscommon in the Big Apple.

The Donegal man has now decided to step aside and let someone else take up the reins for 2012, with county board secretary already having sent out applications to advertise the position.
