Philadelphia GAA 2010 Convention

The Philadelphia GAA Convention was held March 7, 2010, at the Irish Center. All club delegates and Board members were in attendance. Joe Lydon, the NACB Chairperson, was also in attendance and presided over the election of officers. 

The main topic on the agenda was the new Philadelphia GAA Complex in Limerick. Convention attendees were informed that work on the complex would commence in the next few weeks. The outgoing Chairperson, Eamonn Tohill thanked the clubs for all their help and work over his nine year term and stated "The main goal I had when I became Chairman, was to have a field that we can call home, and now we have that."

The new Board members elected for 2010 are.

Secretary- Mary Kate O'Neill
Treasurer- Colm McNally
Registrar- Shawn Bleiler
PRO- Barry Trainor
Youth Officer- Aidan Trainor
