McGrath to lead Donegal football club again

February 16, 2010
Chairman Laurence McGrath heads the Donegal Football Club New York officer panel in 2010 for the fifth consecutive year.

Backing him up again is the tested team of "The Chief," Frank Molloy as Vice President; former Chairman Rory Kilfeather as Treasurer, Recording Secretary Mary Grant, Corresponding Secretary-P.R.O. Ira Goldman, and Chaplain Fr. Paul O'Donnell Duggan.

Donegal and Philadelphia man Seamus Sweeney, former skipper of the 2007 NY champion Four Provinces team, takes the helm of the Senior panel along with his duties as NY Senior Manager.

Pettigo's Gary Dowd, who starred on Donegal NY's 3-in-a-row Senior Championship winners and with the NY GAA team, is Junior Manager, assisted by Ardara-man and veteran NY player and manager Pat McGill.

The Donegal Club will be represented at the NY G.A.A. again by Senior Delegates Tommy Lilly and Molloy. Junior Delegates are McGrath and former President Jimmy McGonagle. The 2010 Senior Alternates are Goldman and Sweeney, and Dowd and McGill are the Junior Alternates..
