London GAA is calling out for more referees.

There is a massive shortage of match officials in the English capital and the problem is escalating according to Liam Barron.

"I think there are not enough referees full stop," Barron told the Irish Post. "It is very hard to do and sometimes we feel there is inconsistency there, but maybe the problem is that there are not enough referees. At the end of the day, they are doing a job that nobody else wants to do.

"It seems like there are the same three or four referees that have to do all the games and then even one or two will be involved with the clubs and cannot do certain games anyway. So there are not enough there." Tweet
