St Dymphna's 1-23 Cambridge Parnells 0-05

St Dympna's reached their 2nd final of the season when they defeated Cambridge Parnells in the semi-final of the Cahill Hurley cup on Sunday Last. The Luton side opted to take the wind in the first have and really dominated racking up 1.12 in an impressive first half display with the goal coming from Wes Keane. Shane Gallagher, Luke Maloney and Donal Nevin were also on the score sheet with Richard and James McKenzie making defence breaking runs through the heart of the Cambridge defence. Cambridge only registered one score in the first half coming from the boot of Full forward Thomas Harington who was finding it tough against the impressive Liam Berry at full back.

Cambridge started brightly in the second half with scores from Padraig Finn and Patrick McGuire who both worked hard at midfield but Dympna's were a constant threat going forward and registered a further 11 points against a strong wind. Final score on the day was St Dympna's 1-23 Cambridge Parnells 0-05

The other game on Sunday was St Colmcilles 1-10 Glen Rovers 1-04
