A GAA club football match in the UK had to be cancelled after a mass brawl erupted near the end of the game.

Two of Warwickshire's biggest clubs Sean McDermott's and St Barnabas were playing in the senior football league when with just two minutes remaining an off-the-ball incident resulted in players from both sets become involved.

The row lasted a number of minutes before order was restored, but the St Barnabas management team called their players off the field and the game was subsequently abandoned.

An investigation has been launched into the incident and there are set to be heavy suspensions handed out to players from both teams. Tweet
