All-Ireland JFC: Kingdom breeze into final

Kerry will face Sligo in the All-Ireland JFC final after they had nine points to spare over 14-man Lancashire in yesterday's semi-final at Old Bedian's.

The hosts were already facing an uphill task at half-time when they trailed by 1-2 to 1-7 and had a player dismissed. The Kerry goal was scored by John Buckley who went on to kick a further two points.

Former senior star Aodan MacGearailt finished as the game's top scorer with 0-6, 0-4 of which came from frees.

The All-Ireland final will take place on Saturday week, August 21 at a venue to be confirmed.
