London skipper says belief will be key

London captain Paul Geraghty has said that self-belief will be key if his team are to pull off a shock win over Down this weekend in the first round of the All-Ireland SFC qualifiers.
The Exiles go into the game as massive underdogs against a side which achieved promotion form Division Three of the National League a little over two months ago.
"We have to put our money where our mouth is," said Geraghty.
"We're certainly not going over to Newry to make up the numbers. We have to believe in ourselves and we know that we're not far away from a big result."
Already there has been a let down for Noel Dunning's team in that they saw their home venue of Ruislip switched to Newry for the game after being draw first out of the hat. Geraghty, tough, is still confident of a result at Pairc Esler.
"When the draw was made initially we were pleased with the home venue but obviously it's been changes since. That's a pity but then again it's 15 against 15 on a big open pitch so we just have to get on with it and do our best.
"They're a strong outfit undoubtedly and like other Ulster sides have an excellent work ethic," he added.
