It was a good weekend for the club as both the senior team and the ladies team had convincing wins against St Clarets and Dulwich Harps. In the Senior Championship the lads blew away St Clarets with a win of 0-15 to 0-5. With a much improved performance from the previous week KKG went in at half-time leading by 2 points and having to play into a stiff breeze but with Mike Kivenney knocking over 7 points and Veteran Jacko Murphy helping himself to 3 the result was never in question. Our ladies fielded a strong team despite missing quite a few regulars and had a great 4-15 to 3-3 victory over Dulwich Harps. Anne Marie Reilly was outstanding in the forwards for KKG in what was a magnificent team effort.
