The Lancashire County Board would like to thank everyone that bought tickets for the All Ireland ticket raffle recently.Thanks to the clubs who worked hard in selling the tickets.The winner was a Mr T.G.Thomas from Loughor In Swansea and the winning ticket was sold by the John Mitchells Club in Liverpool.
Meanwhile on the pitch Oisin played St Lawrences in a refixed senior league game at Old Bedians with Oisin winning comfortably by 6-10 to 1-05.John Mitchells remain unbeaten in Lancashire when they disposed of Oisin by 2-10 to 1-08 in a close fought encounter at Old Bedians.Oisin have improved recently with addition of some new players most notably Laois man Richard Coss and American born Richard Fleming who have given the team a lift.
Also congratulations to John Mitchells on winning the Lancashire 7 a side tournament held at Turn Moss last weekend in which they defeated St Ann's in the final.The two clubs battle it out again at Turn Moss on Sunday at 1.00Pm throw in to compete for the senior championship.If St Ann's can beat John Mitchells or draw with them they will reach their first Senior championship final ever. If J Mitchells win the Lancashire county board will have to work out the permeatations.
