HL3A round-up: Rossies make purposeful start

Roscommon issued a statement of intent as they opened their Division 3A campaign with a comfortable victory.

The Rossies were far too strong for Louth at Athleague, storming to a twelve-point success, 1-21 to 1-9.

In the same division, goals were the difference for Fingal as they scored a thrilling 3-13 to 1-16 win over Fermanagh at Enniskillen.

And it was honours even at Omagh, where neighbours Tyrone and Monaghan played out an enjoyable 1-13 to 2-10 draw.
