Mickey Harte admits it will be strange not to have Tony Donnelly and Fergal McCann standing beside him on the sideline next year.

The two-long serving members of Harte's backroom team have left the set-up with former player Peter Donnelly coming on board as strength and conditioning coach.

Gavin Devlin is saying on and, speaking to The Irish News, Harte said: "Many management teams over the years have changed a number of times and we were consistent and there for a long time together.

"Sometimes changes happen and it's a challenge for everybody concerned but I appreciate the work Tony and Fergal did.

"They contributed handsomely to the success we had over the years and I'll always appreciate that, but life goes on and things change.

"This is a new challenge to try and work in a different environment than I've been used to in the last eight-to-10 years.

"Hopefully we can make good of that challenge."
