Kyle Coney is looking forward to welcoming Dublin to Healy Park on Sunday.

The bang-in-form attacker, who kicked nine points in last weekend's thrilling draw with Cork, admits it would be extra special to beat the All-Ireland champions with an Allianz League semi-final spot on the line.

"There would be no better way to get to the semi-finals, if we were to get there, than to beat the All-Ireland champions," he noted in the Tyrone Courier.

"It will draw a good crowd to Omagh and hopefully we can push on and reach the semi-finals because it will be a good stepping stone for the rest of the year."

The talented Ardboe man has played down his scoring heroics in Pairc Ui Rinn, instead paying tribute to his team-mates for creating the chances for him.

"We work with each other in training, we know where each other is going, what runs to make. They are all quality passers of the ball, and if we get it in there, we'll hopefully do the business," he continued.

"It doesn't matter to me who puts the ball over the bar, as long as I stay injury-free. That's the main thing, to stay injury-free and healthy, and train hard."

And the former Aussie Rules recruit was also delighted with the battling qualities displayed by the Red Hands in coming from four points down to force a draw last weekend.

"We fought hard to pull it back to a draw and I thought we could have nipped a win. It would have been a long journey of we had come out on the wrong side of it, but a point shortens the journey."
