Saturday night fever could attract 40,000

Croke Park
The GAA anticipates that some 40,000 fans will attend tomorrow night's Croker double bill.
With the 2012 national football league due to start with a bang as Tyrone lock horns with Kildare before Dublin and Kerry collide in a mouth-watering Division One double-header under lights at HQ, the Association's top brass is confident that around 40,000 supporters will avail of the opportunity to see four of Ireland's top football sides.
The previous record for a Spring Series double bill at Croke Park is around 35,000 - though an incredible 81,678 attended the 2007 opener between Dublin and Tyrone - the first match played under lights at Croke Park.
But these are different times for the economy and anywhere close to 40k would represent a major success.
