Tyrone, Fermanagh, Down, Armagh and Cavan did the business in the Dr McKenna Cup.

Tyrone scored a 1-12 to 0-10 victory over Antrim at Casement Park and Peter Canavan's Fermanagh maintained their excellent start to the year with a 2-13 to 0-10 win over Queen's at Enniskillen.

Down slammed in four first-half goals as they put Monaghan to the sword in Clones, 4-12 to 0-11.

Armagh were far too good for St Mary's in the Athletic Grounds, 1-18 to 0-10, and Cavan produced an impressive display at home to Donegal to prevail by 1-14 to 2-8. Tweet
