Tyrone GAA Oral History Project

August 16, 2010
The GAA is currently carrying out a project to capture history from all aspects of the organisation.
Tyrone GAA has set up a committee with the responsibility of capturing information form Gaels in Tyrone, and feeding this back into the project headquarters. Eventually, all data gathered will be available for viewing withing the GAA Museum in Croke Park.

At this stage, the Tyrone committee need a point of contact within every club. This should be someone who is active within each club and the community. They will be used by the committee to help moninate a small number of appropriate people from within their club and wider community who would be willing to either complete questionnaires / take part in an interview / or gather photos, stories / poems etc to help us build up a history of how GAA has shaped the lives of people in Tyrone.

If you know the name of an appropriate person please send the name of your club representative to [email protected] before 31st August.
