Cavanagh back for Tyrone
March 10, 2010

The brilliant Sean Cavanagh
Sean Cavanagh could make his first appearance for Tyrone this season when the Red Hands welcome Cork to Healy Park for their vital NFL clash this Saturday at Omagh.
Cavanagh had been sidelined after undergoing ankle surgery at the end of last year, but after playing three games with his club Moy in the Ulster League the former 'Footballer of the Year' looks ready to return in a must win game if Tyrone are to lift themselves from the bottom of Division One.
Ironically, Cavanagh has not played for Tyrone since Mickey Harte's team since last year's All-Ireland SFC semi-final defeat, and while he's not in contention to start against the Rebels, Harte says he will be among the subs.
"He certainly would be in the reckoning somewhere for the Cork game, I'm sure not to be starting but at least available," said the Tyrone boss.
