Mulligan: Gormley will bounce back

Owen Mulligan has backed Tyrone team-mate Conor Gormley to bounce back after the defender's mistake which led to a decisive goal for Monaghan on Sunday in the NFL.
Tyrone had been leading before Tommy Freeman disposed Gormley and dispatched the ball to the back of the net to draw the game level at half-time, from where Monaghan went on to condemn Mickey Harte's team to their third straight in Division One.
"The goal was a bit of a killer but it was unfortunate. It wasn't like Conor and he will bounce back from that and I'm sure the team will as well, in training on Tuesday night," said Mulligan.
"People will point the finger at Conor Gormley but, at the end of the day, he had nobody to kick the ball out to so we all have to put our hands up. We were a bit unlucky. We played well in the first-half but just didn't click in the second-half."
The Cookstown ace realises that Tyrone face a great threat of the drop down to Division Two and that a win will be need against Cork, who defeated them in last year's All-Ireland SFC semi-final, this Saturday at Omagh if they are to get things back on track.
"It's a relegation battle now. Tyrone will have to dig deep but no better team than Tyrone to do that," he added.
