Gormley: We're just as hungry as Derry

Tyrone's Conor Gormley
Conor Gormley insists that Tyrone's desire to win an Ulster SFC title is just as great as Derry's.
The Oak Leafers have gone 11 years without lifting the Anglo-Celt Cup whereas Tyrone were provincial champions just two years ago. Derry have also been beaten at the semi-final stage in the past three years, but Gormley insists that Sunday's Casement Park clash is just as important to Tyrone.
"It's a big game for us as well. They're as equal as us and last year is history," the Carrickmore defender said.
"It's all about the next game for us so we're not worrying about back-to-back All-Irelands or Ulster titles. It's just game by game, that's the way we're taking it."
Gormley admits that Tyrone won't be lacking in motivation after their 0-5 to 1-8 defeat to the Oak Leafers in 2006.
"We didn't score in the first half that day, but I don't think that game will be a factor.
"Tyrone and Derry games nearly take on a life of their own. The neighbourly rivalry is there and they're going well. They have good forwards with the Bradleys and James Kielt (who's out with a broken jaw).
"They can play football as well as mix it so we have a lot to do. Just like Derry, we want to win the Ulster title. Every county wants to win their provincial title and we're no different."
