Tyrone manager Mickey Harte is hopeful that team captain Brian Dooher and full back Justin McMahon will be fit for Sunday week's Ulster SFC semi-final against Derry.
Dooher was forced to retire early in a club game at the weekend after suffering a recurrence of his groin problem, while McMahon sat out his club's weekend league game due to an ongoing hamstring injury.
But he trained last night at the Mid-Ulster Sports Arena in Cookstown, and Harte is optimistic about his chances of facing the Oak Leafers.
"The hamstring that he had earlier in the year, we have to monitor that and make sure that we don't set it back and have a recurrence of it," he said.
Regarding Dooher's injury, he said: "We are concerned that Brian didn't come through his game at the weekend, but we have to just manage that," said Harte.
Corner back PJ Quinn sat out last night's session due to a back strain, but expects to be fit for the semi-final.
