Minor team named

The Tipperary minor hurling team to play Clare in the first round of the Munster Championship has been announced. The match will take place in the Gaelic Grounds Limerick on Saturday with a 2:30pm throw-in. The game will be preceded by the Munster Under 16 Interdivisional Hurling semi-final between North Tipperary and East Clare at 1:00pm. Matthew Ryan, Ray McLoughney, Joey McLoughney and Philip Ivors all started for the Tipperary Minor Hurlers in the 2004 All-Ireland semi-final against Kilkenny. In all, 11 of the starting 15 were on last year's panel.
