Former Tipperary star Colin O'Riordan says he wouldn't at all be surprised if Clonmel Commericals upset Ballyboden in tomorrow's All-Ireland club SFC semi-final.

The Premier County champions are rank outsiders at 9/4 (Boylesports) to end the Dublin outfit's season and O'Riordan, who is in the fourth month of his rookie contract with AFL giants Sydney Swans, feels that a shock result could be on the cards.

"They've beaten all these fancied club teams and now have the chance to play Ballyboden, that's what you grow up dreaming of, competing with the best and beating the best," O'Riordan told the Irish Independent.

"The best feeling in the world is competing on the biggest stage. You don't play to get beaten in a terrible match in South Tipp.

"I'm sure Commercials didn't see at the start of the year that they'd be in an All-Ireland semi-final but they're there and it's just belief now. People underestimate it.

"What do 'Boden have that Commercials don't have? Commercials have a fine young team and I've no doubt that they can put it up to them. And it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if they beat them."
