Wexford are set to appoint Tipperary All-Ireland winning minor football manager David Power as Aidan O'Brien's senior football successor.
The announcement is expected during the week, according to The Irish Independent, and the Kilsheelan-Kilcash clubman will become the youngest manager in inter-county football as things currently stand.
The 31-year-old guided the Premier County to a famous All-Ireland MFC final victory over Dublin in 2011 and was successful in retaining the Munster silverware the following year.
He was in charge of his native county's U-21s this year and Tipperary officials will find it hard to fill the void created by his departure.
