Eamon O'Shea says Tipperary have always known where they stand in the pecking order.

The Premier County have plotted a path to the All-Ireland quarter-finals via the Qualifiers and will face Dublin in Thurles on Sunday week for a place in the last four.

"We have never lost focus in terms of what we have to do here," their manager is quoted in The Tipperary Star. "We know where we are in the pecking order. That's the point that I want to make. We are not delusional, we know where we are.

"We are in the top six now, but there are teams in there that are far better than us so far in terms of the championship. We have a level to come up to. We know that we have to get to that level.

"Really, it's a case of us knowing where we are and trying to achieve the next level. That's how I see things. I see things very simply. Happy to be there, but I think we have a bit of work to do."
