St Attracta's manager Enda Joyce hailed his charges following their first ever Connacht Schools Junior 'A' title win.

An eleven point win over St Jarlath's of Tuam saw the Sligo school make history at the Connacht Centre of Excellence.

Joyce admitted to the Sligo Champion that things went their way on the day as they put in a massive performance to claim the title.

"It is absolutely brilliant," said Joyce. "The lads were absolutely fantastic and we couldn't have asked for anything more.

"It was a brilliant performance all round, all of the lads performed."
