Easkey player-manager Noel McGuire knows that they will have to be at their best against St Patrick's in their IFC semi-final clash.

The sides meet this weekend and this is expected to be a closely fought contest as both sides bid for a place in the final.

"They were very strong against us three or four weeks ago. It was probably our poorest performance in the group stages but in saying that they were very impressive, they were physically much stronger than us on the day," McGuire told the Sligo Champion.

"They got four goals and you won't win any game conceding four goals so we've a huge amount of improving to do if we're going to be in with a shout."
