Lotto
Casteconnor GAA Lotto is now worth €15450 after the latest draw that
took place at Muddy Burns on Saturday night.. The numbers drawn on the
night were 6,10,15, 18 and there was no jackpot winner but there was
three match three winners. They were Eoin and Keeva Flynn, Castletown,
Orlan Howley, Carraun, Kevin McKeown Castletown. The next draw will
take place on the weekend of February 10th in Mahoneys bar.

Hurling
Indoor hurling will commence this Wednesday evening at the community
centre. There will be two sessions on the night. At 6:30pm the age
group of 6-8 year olds are invited for their first session of the
year. This will conclude at 7:30pm when the older children who have
played before will train till 8:30pm. Hurls and helmets will be
provided on the night so we hope to see a good crowd of first time
youngsters taking their first step towards playing outdoor hurling.

Intermediate team
At the club meeting on Wednesday night the senior team management for
the year was ratified. John Judge and Colin Gordon were selected as
joint managers with Michael McDonnell and Bart Barrins as selectors
for the year. Club chairman Darren Ruane thanked the previous
management panel of Hugh Lynn, PJ Barrins and Jason Cawley for their
huge efforts for the last two years and wished the incoming group all
the best for the year ahead.

Congrats
Congratulations to club Hall of Fame recipient in 2009, Ernie Caffrey
on his All Ireland athletics triumphs last week. Ernie is truely an
inspiration to the young and not so young members of the club and his
