Sligo 0-13
Louth 2-6

Sligo produced a storming finish to reach this year's All-Ireland JFC final at Louth's expense in Kingspan Breffni Park yesterday.

The Yeats County scored five unanswered points in the final quarter to edge out the tiring Leinster champions. Louth got off to a great start with former senior star Mark Stanfield's goal helping them to a 1-3 to 0-1 lead after eight minutes. However, they failed to score again until the seventh minute of the second half as a David May-inspired Sligo fought back to lead by 0-7 to 1-3 at the break.

A James Califf goal had Louth 2-5 to 0-8 ahead after 41 minutes and they looked set for victory when Stanfield added a free to push them four points clear. But Sligo came good in the last quarter with substitute Joe Quinn kicking the leveller before Mark Gordon scored the winner two minutes from the end.
