Senior team
Tubbercurry were visitors to Corballa on Saturday evening for the second round of the Kiernan cup. Both teams were missing a number of players with Sigerson cup taking away two of the teams star forwards, Niall Judge and David Kelly. A first half of endeavour from both teams so the away side lead by one point. The second half took place in a multitude of weather with hail showers, rain, thunder and lighting throughout the half but the teams stuck to their tasks and Tubbercurry came out the victors on a one point victory, 1-9 v 0-11. Our next outing in the Kiernan cup is away to Shamrock Gaels on the weekend of March 13/14. Training continues on Tuesday night at 8.

Well Done:
Congrats to the Drama Group on their wonderful production of 'Troubled bachelors' at the weekend.
Also well done to John Cooney, son of Ligori Barrins who was scrum-half for the third time this season for the Irish U20 team who defeated England on Friday night. Last season both John and his brother Frances did some of their pre-season rugby training with the club.
