Volunteers
We badly need a number of new volunteers to help out within our club. Club Treasurer Leo Logan is looking for volunteers to collect admission fees at Senior League games. Ronnie Brennan and his team who look after pitch lining and maintenance are looking for people to help out with the upkeep of the club grounds. We also need someone to take on the role of dressing room caretaker/maintenance. Anyone interested in helping out with the running of our club please feel free to contact Niall Murray, Leo Logan or Kevin Molloy or indeed any other member of the club executive.

Bord na nÓg
The First Draft of the 2010 Master Fixture Calendar will be available shortly on the Club's website. All underage coaches must now have the vetting form completed; this is also available from the County Board's website and must be returned immediately to any committee member.

Medal Presentation Night
The Club medal presentation night is on in the Glasshouse Hotel on this Friday 5th March 2010 at 8.30pm. There will be medal presentations to a number of our under age teams (both boys and girls), as well as to the successful U-20 team. Finger food and a disco will be provided after the medal presentation. It is important that all club members young and old turn out to support these teams on this night.

Haiti Fundraising Raffle
St. Mary's GAA club will be hosting a fundraising raffle on Friday night at our medal presentation night in the Glasshouse Hotel. Clodagh Murray will travel to Haiti in April to take part in Build It Week, run by Irish charity Haven Partnership. Between now and April, Clodagh (sister of Chairman Niall Murray) is fundraising to bring in badly needed cash to help the rebuilding effort after the quakes which killed 230,000 people and left at least another million homeless. Prizes on the night will include two tickets to see Westlife in Croke Park this summer, a Wii Fit and many other prizes.

Summerhill College
Pride of place this week goes to the Summerhill Senior side who reached the Connacht Colleges Senior 'A' Final for the first time in 25 years. They are due to play St. Gerard's Castlebar in the Final in 2 weeks time. It is important to give these young men all the support necessary to bring the title to Sligo. Well done to Shane Reynolds, Liam Óg Gormley and their team of helpers. We are proud of our club members who are part of the panel namely Conor Conway, Paddy Brady, Brian O'Donnell and especially Niall McManus who was sprung from the bench to score 2 late goals to win the match.

Minor
We are due to play Eastern Harps in the Minor League at home on Sunday next at 11am. Meet in St. Mary's at 10am. Training on Friday evening at 6.30pm.

U-14
Good luck to Summerhill College in the first years 'A' final due to be played shortly.
Many of our successful U-12 and U-14 Feile teams are part of the college panel.

Senior/Junior
The Senior side travelled to Keash on Sunday afternoon last to take on the Eastern Harps intermediate side in the second round of the Kiernan Cup. The visitors dominated the opening half and aided by a Mark Herrity goal, they led by 1-7 to 0-1 at half time. The home side started the second half brightly and narrowed the margin before Mary's tagged on further scores in what was a more competitive second period. Final score St. Mary's 1-14 Eastern Harps 0-6. Best performers for Mary's were Tomás Carroll, Donnacha Gallagher and Daniel Lang. Training continues on Tuesday and Friday evenings with all Senior and Junior Panellists expected to attend.
