Sligo full back Noel McGuire was crestfallen after the luckless defeat to Galway but vowed to bounce back in the Qualifiers. Speaking after the Yeats County were hijacked by the Tribesmen in injury time at Markievicz Park on Sunday, the Easkey clubman cut a forlorn figure. However, he acknowledges that the players must drag themselves off the floor to face the back door: "We feel we left it behind us. We put in a great effort but, at the end of the day, we had nothing to show for it and that is very frustrating. "It's hard to think about the Qualifiers after a disappointing defeat but I'm sure we will get our heads around it and get back to serious training. "Too much effort has gone in all year to leave it in just one match, so we'll be anxious to do as well as we can in the Qualifiers." Tweet
