U16 Hurlers
U16 B Hurling Q-Final Championship
Tullamore 0-14 Kinnitty 2-10. Tullamore  took on a Kinnitty/Lusmagh amalgamation on Sat 26th Sept in the Q-Final of the B Championship in Killurin. With ideal conditions for hurling and the playing surface in great order, both teams tore into each other from the 1stwhistle with no quarter ask or given. The young Tullamore team had a lot to prove to themselves after some lack lustre performance during the summer and with Coach KieranEgan's voice ringing in their ears they didn't disappoint. Tullamore raced into an early lead with Aaron Malone leading the attack from corner forward. Kinnitty pulled back Tullamore's lead after a mix up in the blues defence ,but Tullamore still held the lead at the break. In the 2nd half Tullamore were on top in most positions on the field but couldn't get the goal that would put some daylight between themselves and Kinnitty. Credit to Kinnitty they pulled back a 4pt lead with minutes left on the clock and with the game looking like it was drifting into extra time Kinnittylobed a high ball into the Tullamoresquare making its way to the back of the net. From the resulting puck out Referee Kieran Dooley blew the final whistle. The young blues where upset at the end but can feel very proud of how they performed. They played the game in the right spirit , hard tackling , frantic work rate and with no little skill ,and can walk away with their heads held high. Very hard to pick a man of the match with everybody playing so well, but one man stood out Patrick Fahey had an excellent game from the middle of the field.
Team M Lynam, D Connolly, D Hensey, J O'Dywer, R Hand, A Bracken, J Mitchell, D Egan, P Fahey, J O'Reilly, S Robilliard, T Furlong, O Jack, K Kelleher, A Malone, A Guilfoyle.

U14 Hurlers
Just want to say hard luck to all our boys on their heart-wrenching loss to Shinrone in today's U14 A Semi-Final on a scorrline of 0-10 to 2-8.We were more than a match for our opponents throughout but the difference in the end was the concession of two deflected goals just before halftime and 2/3 point blank saves from their goalie midway through the second half.We probably dominated possession and chances but didn't have that most vital of ingredients,-luck.We are all devastated after the great efforts made this year and are particularly sorry for all our boys.

Senior Football
Our Senior Footballers were beaten by Edenderry in the County semi final on Sunday on a score line of 2:14 to 2:07. It was not our day and didn't get going in the first half but played better in second half. Good luck to Edenderry in the Final.
