Tuesday 17th January
Club Wide Coaching Workhop - Edenderry GAA Pavilion 8pm
Open to all those that have an interest in getting involved with teams in 2012 across all age groups and codes i.e. Adult Football & Hurling, Underage Football & Hurling and Ladies Football & Camoige.
The format of the night will include a briefing from the club on the implementation of National Standards followed by a general discussion. At 9pm the ongoing review of Hurling will commence with a workshop to discuss the issues raised at the Hurling Meeting 11/01/12.

Tuesday 31st January

Ladies GAA Underage Training 2012
Edenderry Ladies GAA have commenced their 2012 indoor training season for all girls of 12 years of age and under in the hall at St. Mary's Secondary School on Friday evenings. All kids are encouraged to come along and enjoy a fun, clean safe training environment whilst getting much needed exercise.

Full details are:
5.00pm to 6.00pm: Under 12s - Girls born in the years 2000 and 2001
6.00pm to 7.00pm: Under 10s and Under 8s - Girls born in the years 2002 to 2006.


O'Byrne Cup
Offaly were convincingly beaten in the quarter final of the O'Byrne Cup on Sunday by Kildare on a scoreline of 0-17 0-4. On the team from Edenderry were Richie Dalton, Sean Pender & Derek Kelly.

Adult training
Adult football training will resume on Friday January 27th. New players always welcome.

Family €60 (two parents & all children U18)
Adult Player €60
Student (U23) €30
Senior Citizen €5
Non-playing Adult €20

Bingo

Birthday Wishes
Edenderry GAA wish long serving committee member and bingo caller Aidan Burke a very happy 60th Birthday on Friday next. All your friends at Edenderry GAA & Bingo wish you many more years of health. Also to Senior footballer Keith McGuinness who turned 27 on Monday.

Richie Dalton
Edenderry and Offaly captain Richie Dalton was named Offaly senior footballer of the year for 2011 on Friday night at the Offaly GAA awards night in the Bridge house, Tullamore. Richie became the first Edenderry man to receive the award since its inauguration in 2001.

Schools football
St Mary's Edenderry will take on Ard scoil na trionide Athy in the next round of the Leinster 'A' colleges on January 25th after they defeated Marist Athlone last Friday.
