Junior 'A' Hurling Championship:
Drumcullen 2-10 V Edenderry 1-15
Edenderry stared this match by scoring 1-02 without reply. Drumcullen managed to claw their way into the game to leave the half time score 1-07 to 0-07 points. The second half was keenly contested by both sides and when Edenderry went four points clear it looked like they would finish the stronger. Drumcullen rallied and found two second half goals to leave the sides level. But Edenderry were getting scores more easily throughout the game and found two injury time points to win the match. Intermediate Hurling Championship:
Drumcullen 0-11 V St. Rynaghs 0-13
This was a closely contested game where scores were hard to get by both teams. St. Rynaghs played the first half with a strong breeze and led at the brake by 0-07 to 0-04. Drumcullen did manage to put sequence of scores together in the second half and levelled the match 11 points apiece with a few minutes remaining. But Rynaghs got the breaks and got the vital scores to finished the stronger team.
