Killurin G.A.A
Division 2 hurling league
Killurin 3-12 Kinnity 3-09
This was a game of two halves as Kinnity could do no wrong in the first half going in at half time leading by six pints with Justin Kinsella proving a handful in the Kinnity full forward line. Killurin tightened up in the second half and with Daryl Kilroe firing over frees from over 80 yards Killurin forged ahead to win by 3 points in the end.

Division 4 hurling league
Killurin 0-12 Ballinamere 2-18
This game was history in the making as it was the first time for Killurin to field a second
team. It proved to be a good lively game of hurling refereed by Noel Cooney. Killurin were down by just two points at half time 9 points to 7. The management gave the subs a run in the second half and Ballinamere got their game together and ran out convincing winners. The highlight of the game was the free taking and overall play of Darren Leonard who will be fighting hard for a place on the intermediate team.
