Daingean 0-13 Gracefield 2-6 Daingean held off a spirited second-half comeback from Gracefield to collect the Offaly Division Three Football League title at Walsh Island last Friday night. A blistering start saw the winners take in a five-point lead at the break, but 1-3 from the Gracefield front, with the goal coming from Kieran McEvoy, inside the first 13 minutes of the restart brought them right back into the game. Just one point down, Gracefield took the game to their opponents, but a couple of quick frees down the other end from Jamie Hayes saw Daingean pull away and from there they wouldn't be caught despite the best efforts of their opponents.
