Double boost for Dooley
July 01, 2009

Offaly hurling manager Joe Dooley
Offaly boss Joe Dooley has received a double boost ahead of Saturday's All-Ireland hurling qualifier against Cork with the return of David Franks and Rory Hanniffy to full fitness.
All-Star nominee Franks, who plays his club hurling with Carrickshock in Kilkenny, suffered a collapsed lung as a result of a knock in a club game, but has made a full recovery and is expected to line out at corner back.
Hanniffy has also shaken off a knee problem in time for the Tullamore clash, but there are fresh doubts surrounding full back David Kenny's fitness due to an ongoing hamstring injury.
Dooley is also awaiting fitness reports on James Rigney (shoulder ligaments), captain Ger Oakley (elbow), Cathal Parlon (knee), Daniel Currams (finger) and Joe Brady (groin strain) before picking his team.
